My goal as an aspiring architect is to take my soon to be collected skills and create homes, or offices, or small buildings with the merge of modern architecture with the exposed brick wall, the stainless steel appliances, high vaulted ceilings; combined with the architecture of gothic cathedrals found in Europe.

The reason for this hope of a combination is because I love the intricate designs on the cathedrals. The attention to detail to make it so symmetrical. But I also love the simplicity of modern design. I like exposed/polished concrete. I love the idea of having a brick wall in my future home. The two designs seem to go hand in hand, both naturally creates a dark, almost intimidating atmosphere; but can somehow feel like home to the right person.
